Telecom rapid action development tool consists of a unique service creation language. Since the service creation language is not easily understood by customers, we went on to make a unique development environment using Eclipse Rich Client platform technology. Some of the core Technologies used in the development of the tool was GMF (Graphic Modeling Framework), EMF (Eclipse modeling Framework). The tools set were created as eclipse plugins so that the end customer can work on an existing eclipse installation with a SCL perspective containing views, editors etc.The whole tool is easily usable with drag and drop components, making connections, setting up properties. The intelligent software generates the required SCL code in the background which can be compiled and used in real time kernel calls.
